Why the transfer matters
Most long distance damage does not happen on the highway. It happens during handling, and a conventional van line shipment is handled several times: loaded locally, unloaded at a terminal, consolidated onto a line haul trailer, then broken down again at the far end.
A dedicated truck removes those touches. What is loaded at your door is what comes off at the other one, carried by people who know how it was packed because they packed it.
Dates you can actually plan around
Shared trailer shipments quote a delivery window rather than a delivery date, because the truck leaves when the route is full. That window can run one to three weeks, which is difficult if you have a lease starting or a closing date.
A dedicated move gives you a delivery date, because nothing else is on the truck.

How far will you go?
We regularly run moves out of Georgia into the surrounding southeast and up the eastern seaboard. Tell us the destination when you call and we will confirm whether it is a route we cover before quoting anything.
Is long distance priced hourly?
No. Local work is hourly, long distance is quoted as a flat price based on distance, volume and access at both ends. You get that number in writing before you commit.
